- A weeklong series of regattas on the river between July and August each year; this includes competitions for both men’s and women’s singles crews as well as coxless pairs. The event also features additional events such as yacht races; these take place over several days during which time boats are raced against each other across different courses set up along both sides of the waterway at different points upstream/downstream from where they started out from when they were launched onto them by their respective teams’ captains who were standing beside them while waiting anxiously while watching how well they would perform under pressure before deciding whether or not he should continue competing in another race after seeing what happened last time out.”
