Greenford is a large town in the London Borough of Ealing, west London. It is located 11 miles (17 km) west of Charing Cross and it has an estimated population of 74,000 making it one of the largest suburbs in London.

The name “Greenford” comes from Old English meaning “farm belonging to Fresaham”. The name was first recorded as “Grenefordes” in 1208 and then again as “Grene-Forres” in 1231.

The Broadgate Centre

The Broadgate Centre is a shopping centre in Greenford, England. It is located on the A4080 road, in the London Borough of Ealing. It is a Grade II* listed building. The original complex opened in 1955 as a small market and kiosk area with six shops and two restaurants; it was upgraded to its current size in 1983 and has since been redeveloped several times with new retail units being added to the site.

The Broadgate Centre includes an 11-screen cinema complex (the largest cinema complex outside of London), restaurants, cafés and bars as well as many other amenities including parking spaces available at all hours of day or night.

Brooks Sports Village

Brooks Sports Village is located in the London Borough of Ealing. The sports village offers a great place to visit if you’re interested in football, hockey or other sports. It’s also home to other activities like bowling, golf and tennis courts as well as an indoor swimming pool.

The best way to get there is by public transport because it’s close to Ealing Broadway Station which runs trains all over London including Charing Cross Stations on the Central Line (Zone 1) and Hammersmith & City Line. If you’re driving there’s plenty of parking available nearby although this may cost extra depending on where your vehicle parks at Brooks Sports Village itself so keep that in mind when making plans!

West Middlesex University

West Middlesex University is a university located in the London Borough of Hillingdon. It was founded in 1871 and has a student population of over 10,000.

Romford Leisure Centre

The Romford Leisure Centre is located on the outskirts of Greenford, just off the A109. It has a range of facilities including a swimming pool, gym and tennis court.

The centre is open from Monday to Friday between 8am and 9pm with reduced opening hours on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.

There are also two libraries within easy reach at nearby Purley Library & Learning Centre or Selhurst Library & Learning Centre (both run by Bibliotherapy).
