The market is open every day (except Monday), from 8:00am to 4:00pm. There are many different types of food available here—from traditional English fare like fish and chips or pasties to more exotic foods like sushi or Korean barbecue. You can even find some authentic British treats such as steak pies!

St. Paul’s Church

St. Paul’s Church is a parish church of Tooting, London. It was built in the 12th century and is a Grade I listed building. The church has been added to several times over the centuries, firstly by adding a nave and then by adding an aisle during the 16th century. In 1847, it was extended again to include new north and south transepts which form what is known as “The Lady Chapel”.

The current vicarage dates from 1784 when Sir Francis Burdett gave £30,000 towards its construction; however it was not until 1862 that further major alterations were made by George Edmund Street who had already added some major changes such as installing stained glass windows within the church itself!

Churchill War Rooms Museum

The Churchill War Rooms Museum is located in a converted church, and this is where Winston Churchill spent most of his time during World War II. It’s open to the public, and admission is free.

The museum offers a great opportunity to learn about World War II from an expert who has been there! You can see some of his personal belongings or even meet him if you want to ask him questions about what happened in those rooms during those dark days.

The cinema has two auditoriums; each auditorium seats over 500 people providing great value for money when it comes to enjoying a night out at this popular venue!

Tooting Bec Recreation Ground

  • The Recreation Ground is located in Tooting Bec, and can be accessed by bus or train.
  • There are a number of activities available at the Recreation Ground, including football pitches, tennis courts and a children’s playground.
  • The best time to visit the Recreation Ground depends on what you want to do there – if it’s for lunchtime with your friends then it may be better suited towards morning hours; however if you would like something more specific such as an evening walk before dinner then we would recommend visiting later in the day when there will be fewer people around so that you can enjoy yourself without having them blocking your path!
  • Getting around this place isn’t too difficult either – there’s plenty of parking spaces available nearby so no need for additional transport unless they’re willing-enough!

Traveling in Tooting with Tooting Taxis
