Portobello Road Market is a market in the London Borough of Camden. It is located in the borough’s Stables Market, between Camden Town and Camden Lock Market. The market is named after the Italian town of Portobello.
The market has been running since 1828 and was originally located on what was then called Kingsland High Street (now called Parkway). In 1834 it moved to its current location where it consists of around 100 stalls spread over three floors.
Battersea Park and Roundabout
Battersea Park and Roundabout is the most popular place in Battersea. It’s a great place to visit with kids, friends, or family.
The park itself has plenty of things to do: there are swings, slides, bouncers and rides for children; you can also go cycling or running on the trails around it! If you’re feeling more adventurous there are even some mountain biking trails near by which will take your breath away as they twist their way through the countryside (or so we’ve heard).
South Molton Lane
South Molton Lane is a street in Battersea, London, England. It runs from the eastern edge of Battersea Park and terminates at the Thameslink railway line. The name comes from its proximity to South Molton Lane (now known as Battersea Park Road), which was renamed after a 1792 copper smelting works that once stood on its site.
The area has numerous residential properties with some businesses such as bars and restaurants located along this road. There are several other schools nearby but they are not part of our guide as they do not offer tours into their grounds or classrooms; however if you would like more information about these schools please visit their websites below:
