Earls Court Station
Earls Court Station is a London Underground and National Rail station in the Earls Court area of the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The station is served by the District, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan Railway (later Metropolitan line), Northern line as well as trains on Crossrail’s Elizabeth Line (via Watford Junction).
Earls Court was opened on 8 March 1864 as part of the Great Central Railway’s extension from Marylebone to Euston via Green Street and Baker Street which included six intermediate stations including this one at Albert Bridge Road.
It was renamed Earl’s Court in 1886 when it became part of the District Railway (DR) system following its amalgamation with other lines such as Drury Lane & Holborn Viaduct (#487), Kew Bridge (#489) and Richmond Gate Bridge (#490).
The Cabinet War Rooms
The Cabinet War Rooms is a hidden gem in London. It’s an amazing place to visit for history buffs and anyone interested in WWII, British history or just a good story.
The rooms were built during World War II as part of Winston Churchill’s headquarters and were used by him as well as other top government officials. The building itself looks like something out of a spy movie but it’s so much more than that!
The Royal Albert Hall
The Royal Albert Hall is a large concert hall in South Kensington, London, England. It is situated on Exhibition Road, near the intersection with Cromwell Road and Kensington Gardens Road.
The site is on the northern edge of Kensington Gardens and opened in 1871 as the South Kensington Museum of Arts and Crafts. It was then renamed “Royal Albert Hall” when Queen Victoria laid the foundation stone for its new building in 1872; it was officially opened by Queen Victoria’s son Edward VII two years later on 20 March 1874. In 1884 Ernest Renaud (1840–1916) became proprietor and manager of what had become known as “The Old Exhibition” before renaming it again following his death in 1919: “The Great Exhibition Theatre”.
You can’t miss Madame Tussauds. It’s a popular tourist attraction and a must-see attraction. The museum is located in London’s Earls Court, so you’ll be able to explore some of the city’s best sights while you’re there. This museum has been around since 1835, when it was founded by Marie Tussaud (who also ran her own wax museum). The museum includes over 30 different exhibits that showcase famous people from history as well as current events like sports or pop culture figures like Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift!
The first thing I noticed when we walked up was all of these life-like dummies on display throughout the whole building – it really made me wonder what they would look like if they were actually alive!

Taxi in Earls Court are the best way to get around London. They have a variety of vehicles, including minibuses and black cabs, which can be booked online or via telephone. You can also use them as an alternative when you need public transport in Earls Court.
The area is well known for its shopping malls and entertainment venues so it’s easy to find something fun to do on your trip!

Earls Court is a great place to visit or see because it’s full of history and culture. You can even take part in some activities like going around the zoo (if you want), eating at the food court, shopping at all different places around there like Topshop or Zara etc., just so long as they’re open during your time there!
This is a great place to visit and you can’t beat the value for money. If you are looking for a cheap holiday then this is the place that you should head to. The only thing that I would say about this place is that it’s not worth going on an evening when there are events happening in Earls Court as it can be quite busy at times!
